Evan Scott Seay of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020. He was 37 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Chaplain Lynn Ward, Bro. Scott Jordan and Reverend Dr. Edwin Scott officiaitng. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Evan’s memory to the Geneva City Schools Scholarship Fund, c/o Martha Helms, P.O. Box 453, Geneva, AL 36340.

Evan was born on June 27, 1983 to Kim and Scott Seay. Evan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Troy University. He spent most of his working years in construction. He also served in the Army Reserve.

Evan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Sophia Seay.

He is survived by his son, Aden Frank Seay; his parents, Kim and Scott Seay; his sister and brother-in-law, Ally and Drew Roney; maternal grandparents, Martha McDuffie, Dewain and Mary Lois Scott; nephew and niece, Thomas and Sophia Roney.
