FAYE PERKINS DOSWELL

ABBEVILLE.…Faye Perkins Doswell, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away late Thursday night, March 18, 2021, at a Dothan Hospital. She was 86.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Reverend Jud Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Pioneer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. before the service, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel.

            Mrs. Doswell was born in the Spring Hill Community of Barbour County to the late Ernest Bryan Perkins and Nota Mae Hightower Perkins. She lived her young adult life in the Spring Hill and Eufaula, Alabama area. She moved to the Abbeville, Alabama area, where she lived all of her adult life. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She worked at the Calvary Baptist Church Daycare in the earlier years.

            Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fred Doswell; and her ten brothers and sisters.

            Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Donna Doswell Roberts (Bill) of Birmingham, AL; her sons, Joe F. Doswell, Jr. of Navarre, FL, and David Bryan Doswell of Abbeville, AL; her granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Davis of Eufaula, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
