Flora May Jones of Samson passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at her residence. She was 64 years old.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Bro. Chris Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

 

Flora was born January 3, 1953 in Geneva County, AL to the late Jessie and Gladys Campbell Sewell. She was raised in the Sweet Gum Head Community.

 

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Billy “JoBill” Joe Jones; two sons, Jesse Tullis Jones (Heather Nadasky), Joseph Lloyd Jones; two daughters, Candy Jones, Billie Jones (Elliot Stackhouse), all of Samson; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Denise Jones; two grandsons that she raised from a baby, Clayton Lloyd Jones of Mountain View, AR, and Caleb Arnold Jones of Samson; six grandsons, Major Lee Jones, Zachary Gage Stackhouse, Hunter Jo Royce Jones, Payton Daniel Jones, Christopher Allen Goss, and William Trant; one granddaughter, Brooke Rebecca Jones of Samson; one great-grandson, Axel Clayton Jones of Mountain View, AR.
