SPRINGHILL COMMUNITY… Mrs. Fran Adams Johnson, a resident of the Springhill Community, near Troy (formerly of Ozark), died late Saturday morning, January 2, 2021 in Troy Regional Medical Center, Troy. She was 77.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Matt Sasser and Pastor Brian Presley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary. COVID Guidelines and social distancing will be observed during all scheduled times.


            Flowers will be accepted.


            Mrs. Johnson, daughter of the late John Ovie Adams and Dollie Benton Adams, was a native of Bonifay, Florida. She formerly lived in Panama City, Florida and Ozark before moving to the Springhill Community in 2013. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Ozark First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Ann Anderson and a brother, Larry Wayne Adams.


            Surviving relatives include her husband of sixty-years, Carl H. “Johnny” Johnson, Springhill Community; her daughter, Kim Sanders (Tully), Ozark; her son, Steve Johnson (Niki), Montgomery; a sister, Carolyn Blanford (Dave), Springhill Community; two brothers, John Adams (Virginia) and Robert Adams (Connie), all of Panama City, FL; two grandchildren, Catelyn Johnson (Ian Howe) and Cassidy Songer (Matt); several nieces and nephews.
