Frank L. Treece of Enterprise passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.  He was 93. 


Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at St. Luke Methodist Church in Enterprise with Dr. Olivia Poole officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.  Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Hillcrest Cemetery, 714 Snellgrove Ave., Boaz, Alabama 35957 with Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise directing.      


Mr. Treece was born June 16, 1929, in Boaz, Alabama, to the late Henry R. and Cathern Groover Treece.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Treece, and four brothers.  He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree, as well as the University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree.  He served his country for thirty years in the U.S. Army as a master army aviator.  Mr. Treece loved the travel the world, and he was a Masonic Lodge member for over fifty years. 


Survivors include his son, Chuck Treece (Sharon) of Lay Lake, Alabama; daughter, Constance T. Cannady (Gregg) of Amarillo, Texas; niece, Lynda Campbell; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
