Fred Doty of Dothan passed away Tuesday

December 3rd, 2019 at the young age of 74,

at SAMC after an extended illness. Fred was

born August 1st, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan,

but spent most of his life in Dothan, where

he married the love of his life, his wife of

over 30 years Ruth Fesler. Fred is preceded

in death by his mother Marjorie, father Leslie

and brother Paul. He is survived by his wife

Ruth, four children, Beverly (Hugh) Hodge,

Cheryl Sanchez, Maria Lockett and Marcus

Doty and six grandchildren, all of Dothan.He

was a loving husband and father. He will be

missed by many. The family will have a

private ceremony at a later date.

"We will think about you always, we will talk

about you often, you will never be forgotten,

we will hold you close in our hearts, and

there you will always remain, to walk and

guide us through our lives, until we meet

again."
