Gary Lamar Paulk

Gary Lamar Paulk, a resident of Pansey, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his residence. He was 49 years old.

Lamar, or Captain as his family called him, was born on February 21, 1972 in Eustis, Florida and lived the early years of his life in Astatula, Florida. He attended Tavares High School and was employed with a sign company for several years before working with Sardos Bus Company and ABC Bus Company in Winter Garden, FL until his medical retirement. Lamar moved to Pansey in 2020. He loved being in the outdoors, he especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding ATV’s.

Survivors include his daughters, Samantha Victoria Long and Hannah Leann Paulk; his parents, Gary Jack and Dianne Miller Paulk; his grandchildren, Hunter James Cook, Ella Dianne Cook, and Brantley Foister Cook; his brother, Johnny Aaron Paulk (Jennifer Teague); his girlfriend, Kimberly Kobera; his nieces, Alexis Dianne Paulk and Whitney Alexis Paulk; his nephews, Michael Aaron Paulk and Jack Lamar Paulk; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
