SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI. . .George Woodrow Money, Jr., a resident of Southaven, Mississippi, formerly of Abbeville, Alabama, died Tuesday night, November 8, 2022, in the Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, MS.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022, in the Pilgrim Rest Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary.

Mr. Money was born and reared in Henry County, Alabama, son of the late George Woodrow Money, Sr. and Florence Strickland Money. He lived in Montgomery before moving to Southaven, MS in 2016. Mr. Money was formerly employed by Builders Supply Company in Montgomery.     

Surviving relatives include his life companion, Connie Bath Jones, Southaven, MS; a step-daughter, Brandy Evans, Horn Lake, MS; two step-sons, Bret Ramey, Sr. (Jerrica Jordan), and Michael Jones, all of Horn Lake, MS; step-grandchildren, Kayla Ramey, Kaylie Ramey (Danny Chambers), Bret Ramey, Jr., Presley Ramey, Baylynn Ramey, Madison Jones, Maycee Jones and Melah Jones; step-great-grandchildren, Londyn Chambers, Kinsley Ramey and Mattison Goforth; special cousins, Janice Herndon, Buddy Wilson, Marty Money, Flusie Wright and Tammy Riley.
