GERALDINE S. LABONTE

COWARTS…Geraldine S. Labonte, a resident of Cowarts, Alabama, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 31, 2021, at Barbour Medical Center. She was 82.

            Celebration of Life services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Southpoint Church in Eufaula, Alabama with Reverend Chris Toole officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. before the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            Mrs. Labonte was born in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Edwin Sanders and Ruby Roland Sanders. She was a 1956 Graduate Vienna High School in Vienna, Georgia. She had also previously lived in Americus, GA, Eufaula, AL, before moving to Cowarts, Alabama. She attended Harvest Church in Dothan, AL.

            Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Grace Musselwhite; and a brother, Roland Sanders.

            Leaving to cherish her memories, is her husband, Joseph W. Labonte; her daughter, Kim Moore of Eufaula, AL; her sons, Stan Musselwhite and Brian Musselwhite, both of Cowarts, AL; her sisters, Gertrude Wallice, Margaret Gant, and Grace Rosenberg; her grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Jodie Helms (Dusty), Seth Musselwhite, and Peyton Musselwhite; her great-grandchildren, Alli Grace Helms, Molly Helms, and John Mason Moore.
