ASHFORD…Gina Maria Sellers, a resident of Ashford, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2019, in a local hospital. She was 56.

     Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 3, 2019, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel. Her family members will provide the eulogy and reflection of memories. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the mortuary chapel.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045 Dothan, AL 36302.

     Mrs. Sellers was born and reared in Newnan, GA and was a graduate of Newnan High School. She lived the remainder of her adult life in Dothan and Ashford. Mrs. Sellers had a special love for her cats, music and was a wall flower. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Thames, her mother, Betty Shelton Leach, and her children’s father, Don Sellers.

     Surviving relatives include her father, Tommy Leach of Newnan, GA; her daughter, Bridget Sellers, and daughter’s significant other, Chris Blake, both of Tuscaloosa; her son, Eddie Sellers of Dothan; a step-daughter, Leann Smith (Matthew) of Cowarts; a brother, Donnie Hall of Newnan, GA; two grandchildren, Eden Sellers and Wyatt Bowman; her mother-in-law, Betty Sellers Franklin of Dothan.
