Mr. Glen Newsom of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023.  He was 68 years old.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowlawn Memorial Park in Enterprise, AL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.

Glen was born on February 23, 1955, in Hartford, AL to the late Albert Preston and Sudie Broxson Newsom. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years in the construction industry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Vicki Newsom Whittle.

He is survived by two sisters, June Meredith (Ken) of Brantley, AL, Wanda Tice (Billy) of Sellersville, AL; one brother, Henry Newsom (Penny) of Tuscaloosa, AL; special nephew, John Hawthorne of Coffee Springs, AL; three aunts, Christine Norris, Laura Lolley and Arlene Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
