Gwendolyn Bushnell McNeil of Hartford passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Wiregrass Medical Center. She was 56 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Jared Stanley and Rev. Dell Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.   

Gwendolyn was born in El Paso, TX on March 18, 1963. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and was considered a mother to many different people. She was very outgoing and was a very hard worker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Fredrick Bushnell.

She is survived by three daughters, Jaimie McLaney (Zack), Courtney Tharpe (Shawn), and Diane Robinson; three sons, Michael Bailey, Duran McNeil (Suzy), and Nick McNeil; husband, Jocko McNeil; 19 grandchildren, Christina, J.J, Kiley, Hunter, Hunter, Ethan, Bianca, Nick, Jacob, Dathan, Tyler, Malachi, Danielle, Lucas, Kristian, Titus, Destiny, Blakley, and Chance; two great-grandchildren, Adaline, and Paisleigh; one sister, Yolanda Stanley; and her very special “Fur Baby”, Finley.

Pallbearers will be: Shawn Tharpe, J.J. Rich, Malachi McNeil, Zack McLaney, Joby McLaney, and Robert Hammock.
