Harold E. Stewart of Geneva, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay, Florida.  He was 78 years old.

 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Holmes County, Florida with Rev. Randall Pearson officiating and Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar Lee Stewart and Pearlie Mae Johnson Stewart, his wife Sarah Nell Paul Stewart, son Roy Elmore, grandson Jamie Elmore and several brothers and sisters.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Vicky Taylor (Brian) of Geneva, Vivian McDowell (Eddie) of Blakely, Georgia; sons, Coy Elmore (Linda) of Dothan, Mike Lewis of Colquitt, Georgia, Ricky Lewis (Denise) of Ft. Payne, Alabama; brother, George Stewart (Liz) of Dothan, Alabama;

sisters, Linda Crews (Tommy) of Westville, Florida and Louise Batchelor of Slocomb; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and special friend Milton Howell.
