Harold G. “Cookie” Cook of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. He was 73 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Ricky Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Cook was born in Holmes County, FL to the late Wilburn and Eleanor Sketoe Cook. Harold enjoyed going to church when he was able to go. He also enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially fishing.  He served as a EMT with the Geneva Rescue Squad and was also a member of the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Charles L. Miller.

He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Adams (Scott) of Geneva, AL and Malinda Ashton (Kevin) of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Steven Brent Churchwell, Zachary Ashton (Kim), Brie Gilley (Jamie) and Brooke Beagles; great-grandchildren, Maya, Rylen, Grayson, Elijah Ashton and Kaydence Gilley; siblings, Shirley Cross (Bobby) of Geneva, AL, Clyde Cook (Judy) of Geneva, AL, Earline Green of Geneva, AL and Dorothy Hall of Pensacola, FL.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Wiregrass Nursing Home and Wiregrass Medical Center for their devoted love and care.
