Mr. Harold Gene Davis of Samson, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. He was 92 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday March 6, 2020 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ric Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday and continue until time for service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church in his memory.

 Mr. Davis was born on November 09, 1927 to the late Fox and Lillian Noblin Davis. Mr. Davis was an accomplished farmer and cattle farmer. Loving and providing for his family was his top priority. He loved the land and diligently cared for it. He was a lifelong and faithful member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fox, Jr. and Donald W. Davis and one sister, Katheleen Powell.

 He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruby Kate Russell Davis of Samson, AL; two daughters and sons-in-law,  Kay Davis Brown (Rodney W.) of Pensacola, FL and Kimberly Davis McKenzie (Ryan) of Samson, AL; four grandchildren, Josh Brown and Zack Brown both of Pensacola, FL, Davis and Ben McKenzie of Samson, AL; one sister, Marie Adams Panama City, FL and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
