FT. GAINES, GEORGIA. . .Harold Lee “Rusty” Davis, a resident of Ft. Gaines, Georgia, died Friday, April 3, 2020, after an extended illness. He was 73.

     There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

     Rusty Davis was born in Opelika and reared in Headland, Alabama. He was a 1965 graduate of Headland High School where he played basketball and football. Rusty also received a B. S. Degree from Auburn University.  He was formerly employed by Huff, Barrington and Owen Company of Atlanta. Rusty was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lee Davis, his mother, Virginia Taylor Kelly, and his step-father, Sam Kelly, Jr.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Deanna Lee Davis, and a brother, Sam Kelly, III.
