Harold Wayne Fleming, Sr.

Harold Wayne Fleming, Sr., a resident of Shorterville, died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 67.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Judson Baptist Church in Henry County with Rev. Ray Reiley  officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Byrd Funeral Home from 4-6 on Monday.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1152 W. Main St., Dothan, AL 36301.

Mr. Fleming was born March 30, 1947 and lived all of his life in Shorterville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Charles Fleming, a brother, Jerry Fleming and a close friend, John Horace Hickman.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Fleming; three children, Harold Wayne Fleming, Jr. Charles Allen Fleming and Teresa Howerton (Wally), all of Henry County; 7 grandchildren, Allissa, Jacob, Megan, Brittany, Caleb, Madison and Noah; 2 brothers, William Fleming (Robin) of Bakerhill and John Fleming of Shorterville; two sisters, Susan Hutto (Jimmy) of Eufaula and Linda Hayes (James) of Birmingham; several nieces and nephews.
