Harry Lipscomb Gilder, Sr. of Inlet Beach, FL, formerly of Enterprise, AL, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at his home.  He was 86.

 

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church.   Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to:  First United Methodist Church, 217 S. Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

          Mr. Gilder was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Bryson Gilder and a son, Charles Suttle Gilder.

 

          Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gilder, Inlet Beach, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Gilder Baxley (Mitch) Panama City Beach, FL; two sons and daughter-in-law, Harry Gilder, Jr. (Sue) Enterprise, AL; Michael B. Gilder, Inlet Beach, FL; one sister, Suttle Mims (Stan) Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, Stephen Gilder (Patti); Sean Gilder; Ashley Gilder; Brooke Gilder; Chelle Baxley; Harrison Baxley; one niece, Kelly Creech.
