Hazel M. Clark, 85, a resident of Gordon, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ashford EMS or the Cottonwood EMS.

Mrs. Clark was born June 27, 1936 in the Brannon Stand Community to Obie and Lottie Mae Payne Mercer and lived the early years of her life there. She was employed with Wex-Tex for 17 years. She was a wonderful cook and has enjoyed sharing her talent with her extended family. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting. She also loved gardening and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Mrs. Clark is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Hugh Clark, her son, Harold Clark, a sister and two brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Cora M. Ferris (Scott) of Choctaw, OK; two grandchildren, Joshua Moulton and Benjamin Moulton; a great-grandchild, Chrissilda Hazel Bates-Moulton; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Everett of Malone, FL and Grace Clark Crouch of Havana, FL; several nieces and nephews including Thadeous Everett, Clif Clark (Sonia) and Kevin Clark.
