Heidi Hudson of Bonifay, FL passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 in a Dothan Hospital. She was 44 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Greg Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in East Pittman Baptist Church Cemetery (Hwy 179, Bonifay, FL) with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Heidi was born on September 3,1975 in Geneva County, AL to Sharon Johnson and the late John Henry “Johnny” Johnson. Heidi always found the good in everyone she met. She had a true servant’s heart that allowed her to excel as a social worker. She served as the director of Johnson Group Home in Geneva for several years. She was also a loving and devoted mother, wife, and daughter.  Heidi was a proud graduate of the Bethlehem Class of 1993.

In addition to her father, Heidi was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, H.P and Gertrude Johnson; maternal grandparents, Willard B. and Flora Retherford.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Hudson, Jr.  of Bonifay, FL; two daughters, Arabella and Annalia Hudson both of Bonifay, FL; mother, Sharon Johnson of Bonifay, FL; mother-in-law, Deborah Hudson of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law, Amy Hudson of Tallahassee, FL; step-daughter, Danielle Hudson of Dothan, AL; special cousins, Michael Vann (Melissa) and their children, Mallory and Molly Vann all of Westville, FL.
