HENRY HARRISON, SR.

ABBEVILLE.…Henry Harrison, Sr., a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 31, 2021, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. He was 78.

            A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Liberty United Methodist Church in Abbeville, Alabama, with Reverends Ray and Dianne Kelly officiating.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.  Wright Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of arrangements.

            Henry was born in Gordon, Alabama, to the late Earnest Harrison and Flauzie Lee Anderson Harrison. He had previously lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Moundville, Alabama. While living there he was a member of the Stewart United Methodist Church in Stewart, Alabama. He worked with the Westerville Corporation based out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After retirement, he moved to the Holiday Shore Community of Henry County, in Abbeville, Alabama. While living there he was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church.

            Along with his parents, Henry is preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Cannady and a brother, Fred Harrison.

            Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Esker Craig Harrison; his daughters, Denise Fears of Malone, FL, and Annastayshia Marie Keel (Matthew) of Statesboro, GA; his sons, Henry “Bo” Harrison, Jr. (Lauren) of Vance, AL and Eric Lee Harrison (Autumn) of Moundville, AL; his sister, Sarah Baxter of Chipley, FL; his brothers, Jerry Harrison (Josephine) of Abbeville, AL, and George Harrison (Adelle) of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor-Anne Marie Smith, Kaylie Brooke Smith, Brynnley Kadence Keel, Zoie-Lynn Harper Keel, Mattie Rae Keel, Blair Elizabeth Harrison, Scarlett Fawn Harrison, Henleigh Elizabeth Harrison, Josephine Marie Harrison, David Biles, Matthew Biles, and Brandon Biles; his great-grandchildren, Keigan Biles and Ian Biles.
