Mrs. Hilda Jean Fleming Wilson of Samson AL passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Dothan. She was 78.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Allen Monarch officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 Hilda was born in Geneva County, Alabama on December 23, 1942, to the late Ethin C. and Sallie Mae Weeks Fleming. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church for over 59 years, serving as church secretary for 30 years. She faithfully taught Sunday School for many years, where she loved to discuss the Bible. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were truly her life and inspiration for living. Serving the Lord, her church and her family was the center of her life.  

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Early Ray, Charles Edwin and William Farron Fleming.

 She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Donald Rex Wilson of Samson, AL; two sons, Donald Rickey Wilson (Rocio) and Timothy Richard Wilson (Lisa) both of Samson, AL, three grandchildren, Tiffany Carnley (Paul) of Kinston, AL, Nemesis Pitti of Samson, AL, Tyler Wilson (Haley) of Enterprise, AL, four great- grandchildren, Luke Carnley, Lynlee Carnley, Heidi Wilson and Landon Wilson; two sisters, Sandra Schofield (Gerald) of Florala, AL, Judy Everage (Jerry)  Opp, AL and  one brother, Billy Harold Fleming (Rena) of Samson, AL, and a number of special nieces and nephews
