Hollis Ray Knowles of Chancellor, Al passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020.  He was 74 years old.

  Private Services will be held by his family at a later date.

  

Hollis Ray was born on May 9, 1946 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Hollis and Iris Preachers Knowles. Hollis Ray loved spending time with his grandchildren and going fishing with them.  He enjoyed his time spent around the farmers he met at the West Geneva Co. Co-Op.  Hollis Ray was an avid Alabama “Crimson Tide” fan.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Bonita Bowers and one brother, Eddie Knowles.

  He is survived by three sons, Tony Knowles (Jennifer) of Chancellor, AL, Johnny Knowles and Adrian Knowles (Heather) all of Samson, AL, seven grandchildren, Holden, Logan, Peyton, Ashton, Taylor, RayLeigh and Elijah Knowles; three brothers, one sister, one sister-in-law and a number of special nieces and nephews.
