Howard Durl Knight

Howard Durl Knight, a resident of Gordon, died December 12, 2014, in a local hospital.  He was 76.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014, at the old American Legion Building in Ashford. Byrd Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mr Knight is predeceased by his parents, B. C. and Corine Knight, two brothers, Robert and Billy Knight, and by a sister, Kathy Connell.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Rena B. Knight; and by two sons, Tony Knight (Cindy) and Terry Knight; two Step-sons and one step-daughter, Samuel Lewis, George Lewis and Wanda Witter; one granddaughter, Cristi Dean (Phillip); one grandson, Jamie Knight (Heather); three great grandchildren, Dylan Dean, Hanna Dean, and Hunter Knight; five brothers, Thomas, Earl, Glenn, Hubert and Dennis Knight; six sisters, Inez Webb, Patricia Jenkins, Linda Mertes, Joyce Griffith, Millie Pharr, and Sheila Knight.
