Howard Ward Emery, a resident of Dothan, passed away on December 18, 2019. He was 82 years old.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
Howard was born on November 10, 1937 in Maine to the late Howard and Alice Emery. He joined the U.S. Navy and served for 30 years before retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Alicia Emery.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Bobbie Emery; his daughter, Debbie Flowers (Richard); his son, Howard E Emery; 7 grandchildren, Austin Frazier, Dalton Flowers, Benjamin Emery, Zachary Emery; Wyatt Emery, Jenna Emery and Lisa Williams; great-grandchildren, Trenten and Destiney Williams; and his sister, Adelaide Emery.
