DOTHAN…Hugh Stanley Reynolds, a former resident of Dothan, died Friday morning, January 15, 2021, in the Elba Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was 74.

   Private graveside graveside services for the family will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, in the Midland City Cemetery with Reverend George Bryan officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 11039, Lewiston, ME 04243.

   Mr. Reynolds was born and reared in Midland City, son of the late Loftin Frank “Mike” Reynolds and Margaret Elizabeth Lee Reynolds. He was self-employed as a piano and organ teacher in his home most of his adult lifetime. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Dothan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janis Reynolds Hardy.

   Surviving relatives include his sister, Dixie Reynolds, Indian Land, SC; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
