Humphrey Clark DeCoux









Humphrey Clark DeCoux, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his residence. He was 60.


Mr. DeCoux was born on May 17, 1959 in Lafayette, Louisiana and lived there the early years of his life. At the age of 18 he joined the US Army, where he earned his Rifle Marksman Badge. He was employed with Goodson Roofing Company for over 25 years. Mr. DeCoux enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was a jack of all trades and could build anything. He was dedicated and a hard worker. Mr. DeCoux loved people and was extremely loyal to the people he loved.


Survivors include his significant other of 28 years, Gloria Alday; his 3 daughters, Debra (Abraham) Lord, Beth Alday, and Ashley Torres; his 10 grandchildren; his brother, Chris (Pam) DeCoux; his sisters, Susan Shields and Peggy Newman; and several nieces and nephews.
