Ida Elizabeth Burgess, also known as "Gaga” or “Memaw" by her grandkids, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.


A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.


Ida was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on June 12, 1952 to the late Mary and James R. Bradford Sr.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Jo Bradford.  Ida was a loving mother to her two girls that meant the world to her.  What she loved most of all were her grandkids.  As a nurse she was known for her love and compassion for all of her patients and her fellow colleagues.  She loved being out on the water in a boat with the ones she loved most. 


Survivors include two daughters, Holly Burgess of New Port Richey, FL and Rebecca (Tracy) Wild; grandchildren, Eliana Barreiro, Elina Pack, Shawn Bradford, and Brandon Bradford; brother, James Bradford of Ozark, Alabama; and sister, Jane Bradford of Daleville, Alabama.
