ASHFORD. . .Inez Adams Williams, a resident of Ashford, died Sunday morning, April 21, 2024, in Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan. She was 95.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 25, 2024, in the Rocky Creek United Methodist Church with Chaplain Darryl Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary. At other times, the family will be at the home of her son, Densie Williams, 3700 Indian Hills Road, Dothan, AL 36305.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rocky Creek Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 677, Ashford, AL 36312-0677.


            Mrs. Williams was born and reared in the Rocky Creek community, near Ashford, daughter of the late James Mitchell Adams and Viola Lewis Adams. She lived in Houston County, near Ashford, most of her lifetime. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Rocky Creek United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Erskine Williams and several sisters and brothers.


            Surviving relatives include a son, Densie Williams (Kim), Dothan; sisters, Gloria McCullough, Dothan; and Laura Sims, Ashford; brothers, John Adams, Max Adams and Tommy Adams, all of Ashford; grandchildren, Bobby Tolar (Katherine), and Jennifer Williams; a great-granddaughter, Halle Ann Tolar.
