HEADLAND. . .Inez Knight Webb, a resident of Level Plains, formerly of Headland, died Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2023, at her home. She was 80.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Larry Sowell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will be at the home of a daughter, Melinda Bowman, in Newville.

Mrs. Webb was born and reared in Henry County, daughter of the late B C Knight and Mildred Corine Grantham Knight. She lived in Headland most of her adult lifetime before moving to Level Plains in 2016. Mrs. Webb was retired from Ansell, Inc. as a Warehouse Manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jack Webb, sisters, Linda Mertes and Kathy Connell, and brothers, Robert Knight, Howard Knight and Billy Knight.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Bobbie Jean Knappenberger (Dale), Level Plains; and Melinda Bowman (Scotty), Newville; four sisters, Patricia Jenkins (Lamar), Joyce Griffith (Jack), Sheila Knight, and Millie Pharr (John), five brothers, Thomas Knight, Earl Knight (Natalie), Glen Knight, Hubert Knight (Stella), and Dennis Knight; sister-in-law Pat Knight, brother-in-law, Steve Mertes; eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
