Irene Hodge age 92, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Medical Center Enterprise. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Donnie Marler and Rev. Lucas Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Community Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The family request memorials be made to the Zoar Cemetery Fund, c/o Jo Hodge, 3631 County Road 306, Elba, Alabama 36323.
Mrs. Hodge leaves behind Daughter - Dot Taylor, Elba, AL, Daughter - Linda (Don) Flowers, Jack, AL, Daughter - June Clark, Jack, AL, Son - Byron (Jo) Hodge, Elba, AL, Son - Chris Hodge, Elba, AL, Daughter-in-law, Kay Stinson of Jack, AL, along with Granddaughter - Morgan (Matt) Spivey, Mobile, AL, Grandson - Macon (Tiffany) Hodge, Elba, AL, Grandson - Joshua Hodge, Troy, AL, Granddaughter - Dr. Beverly (Mickey) Jordan, Enterprise, AL, Granddaughter - Donna (Kenny) Smith, Northport, AL, Granddaughter - Keri (Ryan) Richburg, Troy, AL, Grandson - Marcus (Anna) Taylor, Elba, AL, Grandson - Lucas (Jennifer) Taylor, Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Makaylah (Josh) Sposato, Headland, AL, and Grandson - Cole (Kristine) Hodge of Vero Beach, Florida. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Alzie Lee Tidwell, by her husband Curtis Hodge, a son, Mack Hodge, along with grandchildren, Wesley Clark, Kacy Clark, Talisa Bozeman, a great grandson, Troy Bozeman, and two sons-in-law David Taylor, and Wallace Clark.
