MIDLAND CITY. . .            J. B. (Bose) Dell, a resident of County Road 14, Midland City, died Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, in a Dothan hospital. He was 85.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Jerry M. Dooling officiating. Burial will follow in the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 P.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, AL. 36302.


            Mr. Dell was a lifelong resident of the Sylvan Grove community of Dale County, son of the late William Bartow Dell and Blanche Irene Thompson Dell. He was a member of the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church and was retired as a farmer. Mr. Dell was preceded in death by all his sisters and brothers.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Edith Lindsay Dell, Midland City; two daughters, Wanda Bowden and husband, Bruce, Ozark; Lindsay Denise Dell, Birmingham; three grandchildren, Jason Braswell and wife, Teresa, Starr Folger and husband, Ken, Adam Braswell and fiance’, Lori Weathington; three great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Braswell, Kallen Shaver and Faith Shaver; several step-great-grandchildren.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Jason Braswell, Adam Braswell, Ken Folger, Jerry Dell, Danny Dell and Jimmy Dell.
