J. R. (Rex) Wilson of Enterprise, AL passed away, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 92.

           Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Quincey and Rev. Randy Kelley officiating.  Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.  Memorial contributions may be made to New Home Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2734 County Road 617, Enterprise, AL 36330. 

           Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lee Wilson and a son, Steve Monroe Wilson.

           Survivors include his wife, Alice Dye Wilson, Enterprise; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Wilson Barbaree (Danny) Enterprise;  sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Wilson (Linda) Samson, AL; Bruce Wilson (Salome) Enterprise; Cecil Wilson (Viola) New Brockton;  daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilson, Enterprise; brother, Paul Wilson (Ann) Enterprise; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
