Jackie was born June 30, 1953, in Dothan to the late L.B. Boles, Jr. & Virginia (Waller) Boles. While attending Ashford High School, Jackie was a proud majorette. She later took on the role of teaching majorette lessons and also served as a midget league cheerleader sponsor for over 10 years. Jackie had an undeniable talent for styling hair from a young age. She pursued her dream of cosmetology and became a successful hairdresser, working for over 50 years. Her legacy as a talented hairdresser, devoted family woman, and generous soul will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Even more than doing hair, she loved having her family surrounding her with laughter as she cooked huge meals for everyone to enjoy. Jackie’s warm and nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced everyone she encountered with open arms. She was a beacon of light that radiated Jesus’ love wherever she went. She lived faithfully by her motto of put God first and then family. She had a servant’s heart that was always willing to do for others and was always willing to sacrifice to help others. Her smile and laughter was contagious, and she gave the warmest hugs. She knew how to make everything better whether you needed a friend to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, or a strong prayer warrior. She was a faithful servant of God. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three children, Laurie McWaters (Bart) of Ashford; Clay Morgan (Bridgett) of Ashford, and Kaylea Mullen (Deuce) of Hunter, MO; fiancé, Harold Phillips; six grandchildren, Jacea Youmans (Wesley), Cade McWaters (MaKinley), Pace McWaters, Stone Ritter (Haley), Slade Ritter (Ciara), and Skye Ritter (Jordan); six great-grandchildren, Story, Raelynn, Ellie, Miles, Grayson, and Daughtry; two brothers, Phil Boles of Ashford, and Brad Boles (Lisa) of Tallahassee, FL; one sister Julie Shacklett (David) of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews, Lindsey Boles, Ryan Boles (Chelsee), and Caitlen Boles; and a great niece and nephew, Denver and Kennedi.

Pallbearers are Jacea McWaters, Stone Ritter, Slade Ritter, Cade McWaters, Pace McWaters, and Wesley Youmans.
