Jacquline “Jackie” Coker, 86, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1935 in Headland, AL., to the late Louie Curtis Knight, Sr., and Ruby (Archer) Knight.


Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1, 2021, from 6 PM – 8 PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.


Jacquline was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking. She adored animals, especially cats and dogs.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chief Eugene Coker, son, Mickey Eugene Coker, and a brother, Louie Curtis Knight, Jr.



Mrs. Coker is survived by her, three sons, Bobby (Pam) Coker, David (Teresa) Coker, Tim (Nancy) Coker, two daughters, Patsy Coker, Marcy (Robert) Bacon,sister  Geraldine Demoran. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Shannon Oliver, Kristen Livingston, Brandi Arendale, Kaci Brannan, Joshua Smith, Kristopher Smith, Becca Coker, Ruby Coker, Emma Coker, Brittany Coker, and Courtney Coker, great-grandchildren, Tatem Livingston, Addalyne Livingston, Hope Livingston, Lucy Moore, Easton Coker, Alora Maxine Rosalind Beasley, and Everett Arendale. She also left behind numerous nieces and nephews.
