COTTONWOOD. . . James Daniel “Danny” Everidge, a resident of Cottonwood, died Thursday morning, June 15, 2023, in Unadilla, Georgia. He was 48.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bill Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Haleburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Danny Everidge was born in Columbus, Georgia to Jimmy and Rose Everidge. He lived in Haleburg before moving to Cottonwood in January 2023. Danny was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was employed by Gateway Tire Southeast of Dothan as a Delivery Driver.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Tammie Wofford Everidge, Cottonwood; five daughters, Melissa Freeman (Daniel), Dothan; Felicia Burge (Brian), Cottonwood; Crystal Beasley (Nathan), Cleveland, GA; Miranda Vanwagner, Bainbridge, GA; and Jasmine Smith, Cottonwood; two sons, David Allen Vanwagner, Cottonwood; and Michael Smith (Jessie), Cottonwood; his parents, Jimmy and Rose Owens Everidge, Haleburg; grandchildren, Terry, Hannah, Dylan, Makenzie, Blake, Myleigh, Jameson, Aubrey, Lawson, Kaleb, Kadance, Brianna, Trinity and Jacen; great-grandchildren, Terry and Eelyah; cousins, Mark Smith (Dana), New Brockton; and Craig Smith (Amanda), Jack, AL; an aunt, Joan Knighten, Elba, AL.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be David Vanwagner, Kaleb Blalock, Blake Smith, Terry Anders, Dylan Mathis and Lawson Wolfe.
