James “Jimmy” Fussell, age 85, of New Brockton, AL, passed away, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Old Tabernacle United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Tabernacle Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 A.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Old Tabernacle Cemetery Fund.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Dean Fussell and a grandson, Benjamin Fussell.

Survivors include his wife, Nelwyn Fussell, New Brockton, AL; daughter, Ginger Ann Buckley, Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Brian Buckley, Seattle, WA; Chris Buckley, Tallahassee, Fl; Doug Buckley, Seattle, WA.
