MIDLAND CITY. . .James Mason Adams, a resident of Midland City, died Sunday morning, April 7, 2024, at his home. He was 52.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 11, 2024, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 416 Bethlehem Road, Midland City, AL 36350, with Pastor Paul Edenfield officiating and a eulogy to be given by Mike Casey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the Pinckard Memorial Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


            Mason Adams was a lifelong resident of Midland City. He was a graduate of Dale County High School and a received an Associates Degree from Wallace Community College. Mason was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by O’Charley’s in Dothan for twenty-three years. In earlier years, Mason worked for Adams Milling Company. As a young adult, he had a passion for showing livestock and was mentored by his friend and Agriculture teacher, Mike Casey. Mason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle and Glady Adams and Ray and Mildred Enfinger.


            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Maycie Adams Visage (Christopher), Ashford; a son, Trent Adams, Midland City; his parents, Corky and Joan Enfinger Adams, Midland City; a brother, McDavid Adams, Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Coraline Visage and Remy Visage.
