James Ronald Wiggins, 48, of Napier Field passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at his residence.


Funeral services will be held 3 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.


Mr. Wiggins was born December 9, 1963 in Georgia and lived in Good Hope, GA before moving to Hartford, AL. He moved to Dothan 8 years ago and was employed with Billy Barnes Enterprises out of Monroeville, AL as a truck driver for several years prior to his medical retirement. Mr. Wiggins enjoyed showing Paso Fino Horses, was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, the Alabama State Defense Force, and Central Baptist Church in Dothan.


Survivors include his wife Jenny Wiggins of Dothan; daughters, Maggie Katherine Lee Ludeman of Peoria, IL and Jessica Irene Wiggins of Dothan; sons, Nicholas Anthony Camp of Oxford, GA, and Matthew Ryan Camp of Dothan; his mother Carr Lotta Wiggins of Conyers, GA; step-father Hank Feree of Conyers, GA; a brother Thomas Wiggins of Georgia; sisters, Dina Wiggins and Ronda Price of Covington, GA.
