JAMES WINSTON EDWARDS

 

 

James Edwards, age 84 of Dothan, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at his residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice. 

 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later time.

 

Mr. Edwards born June 18, 1938 to Hazelton Tyler Edwards and Louise Farmer Edwards in Wetumpka, Alabama.  He honorably served in the US Navy.   He worked as a Pipe Fitter with Local 52 Montgomery.   

 

James is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Thomas Edwards, Charles Edwards, Donald Edwards, Earnest Edwards; sisters Lois Deirfield, Doris Parker, Florence Edwards. 

 

James is survived by his wife, Barbara Edwards; sons James Leon Edwards (Oki) of Florida, Winston Dale Edwards of Dothan, John Earlie Edwards of Dothan, William David Edwards (Lori) of Dothan; daughter Anita Preskitt (Jimmy) of Eclectic.
