Janet Larease Singletary

Janet Larease Singletary, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her residence. She was 64 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

Janet was born on September 22, 1958 to the late Willie Earl and Lallie Welch. Janet was a hard worker and devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Welch; and sisters, Carolyn Stephens, Mary Harrison and Vivian Bond.

Survivors include her significant other, Larry Bond; her son, Warren Shad Floyd (Melissa Sims); grandchildren, Austin Trent Floyd (Sarah Simpkins) and Ashley Laura Love; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen (Jimmy) Miller, Brenda Kent and Nell (Bill) Baker; step-sister, Frankie Gilmer; and k-9 companions, Hope and Abbie.
