Janet Gwen Grantham Wise passed away, Saturday, August 28,2021 at the age of 70.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 2,2021 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Clausell  officiating. Burial will follow in the Vaughanville Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Janet was born July 24,1951 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Charles G. Grantham Sr. and Betty Jean George Grantham.  She was a 1969 graduate of Geneva High School, where she served as class president.  She worked as a nurse at Geneva County Health Department for more than 30 years and at Wiregrass Nursing Home for 10 plus years.  She often said lovingly that she took care of her little kids during the day and grown kids at night.

Survived by her son: Zachry T. Wise of Jacksonville, FL; Siblings: Mitchell and Jewell Ussery, Geneva, AL; Charlie and Rena Grantham, Chancellor, AL; Randy and Christy Grantham, Geneva, AL; Mark Grantham, Geneva, AL and Lena Grantham, Geneva, AL:

Mother-in-law; Euna Faye Wise of Samson, AL; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
