Janice Louise (Gruber) Tiner has been called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jan was born on June 22, 1939 in Donalsonville, Georgia. She met the love of her life, Wayne Tiner, and they married in 1985. Jan was a successful bookkeeper and tax preparer, retiring after working more than 20 years. Jan was a devoted wife, a caring and supportive mother, an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother, and a talented professional. In her spare time, she loved gardening, family gatherings, spending time with friends at Lake Eufaula, and traveling with her husband Wayne. Jan enjoyed anything, as long as she was with her family. In life she was an amazing, brave, strong individual with a hint of sass that would surface with perfect timing. A wholly unselfish, giving woman, Jan will leave an empty space not only in our hearts but in this world.

Janice was pre-deceased by her son Charles, her husband Wayne, her daughter Tracey, and her daughter Debbie.

Janice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law and Gina Rose; her daughter Cheryl Parrish; her daughter Lisa Tiner Jackson; seven grandchildren, Wayne, Christopher, Chelsea, Holden, Juliette, Jessica and Sierra; four great grandchildren; Andon, Liam, Khloe and Kaiden. Out of love and for family and friends, funeral services for Janice are private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in honor of Janice’s memory to the Foundation of Love at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle (https://wesleyplacedothan.org/donate/).
