Janice Marie Reeves Brock of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Flowers Hospital. She was 69 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. John Trim officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Janice was born in Roanoke, North Carolina on December 13, 1953, to the late James Howard Reeves and Mary Frances Loftin Linzey. Janice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, and sister. Her happiest moments were spent in the presence of her family, especially her grandchildren. Janice had laughter that was contagious, and it could brighten the darkest of days. To know her was to love her!

Janice was preceded in death by her son, Bradford Brock; father, James Howard Reeves; mother, Mary Frances Linzey; stepfather, Aubrey Ned “Al” Linzey; sister, Barbara Joyce Spears.    

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Brock of Geneva, AL; one daughter, Jessica Brock Day (Greg) of Andalusia, AL; one son, Jeremy Brock (Chelsea) of Geneva, AL; four grandchildren, Rylann Day, Alivia Day, Robert Connor Brock, and Finley Brock; two sisters, Mary Ann Petty of Westville, FL and Tonya McInnis (Matthew) of Geneva, AL and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Harrison, Hagler Ward, Gabriel McInnis, Dustin Earl Ward, Chad Brock, and Howard Petty.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Flowers Hospital, 4 South and Gentiva Hospice.
