Janone Peel Hall, a resident of Dothan, died early Tuesday morning, January 1, 2019, in the Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 81.

            Graveside services were held at 11:30 A.M. Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Rev Misty Barrett officiating. Holman Headland Mortuary & Cremations was in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Hall was born and reared in Headland, daughter of the late Jesse D. Peel and Aletha Doddridge Peel. She lived in Dothan all of her adult lifetime where she was retired as a secretary for Judge Jerry White in the Houston County Judicial System. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hall, and a sister, Wynell Pitchford. 

Surviving relatives include a son, Blake Hall (Jennifer) Atlanta; a brother, Victor Peel (Jan) Dothan; three grandchildren, Caroline Hall, Virginia Hall and Richard Hall;  several nieces and nephews.
