​Jason F. “Jay” Bonner, 44, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his residence.

​Funeral services were held Sunday, May 27, 2018, at 3 P.M., at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Stephen Doss officiated and burial followed in Memory Gardens cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

​Born May 29, 1973 in North Carolina, Jay was the son of James Clifford Bonner Sr. and the late Shirley Jean McWaters Bonner.  Jay was a graduate of the Eufaula High School class of 1993 and he was a graduate of Wallace Community College.  He was employed with American Buildings since 1993, where he started on the Panel Line and since then, served as Area Manager, District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and currently as Senior AMS Area Manager.  He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, his dogs and music.

​Survivors other than his father include his wife: Amy Sanderson Bonner of Eufaula, Alabama; 2 brothers: Jim (Rita) Bonner Jr. and Jeff (Dare) Bonner both of Eufaula, Alabama; 2 nephews: Brett Bonner and Scott Bonner; 2 nieces: Katie Bonner and Becca Bonner.

​Active pallbearers were Dallas Cannon, Sterlin Giles, Jeff Robinson, Brett Bonner, Scott Bonner and John Milldrum.
