Jason Wayne Mims of Chancellor, Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015.  He was 40.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Earles officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 30, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Jason was born June 30, 1975, in Enterprise, Alabama.  He was a 1993 graduate of Geneva High School and later graduated from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Florida.  He enjoyed his computer and loved to help his neighbors.

Survivors include two sons: Allen and Joshua Mims; one daughter, Alexandra Mims; parents, Emmitt and Susan Sullivan Mims of Chancellor; three brothers: Michael Mims (Abbie) of Geneva, Shannon Mims (Haley) of Samson and Jake Mims (Hailey) of Geneva; other extended family and friends.
