Jay Nolin, age 39 of Shorterville, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at his residence

A graveside service will be held at 4pm Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in the Shorterville Baptist Church Cemetery with Todd Nolin  and Johnny Littlefield officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held beginning at 3pm on Wednesday in the church fellowship hall. Services for the Nolin family are being provided by Family First Funeral Care and Wright Funeral Home & Crematory.

Born December 5, 1980 in Dothan to John Robert and Cheryl Moody, Jay lived most all of his life in Henry County. He was a lead maintenance mechanic for Flagstone Foods (formerly Con-Agra) for many years and loved his job, working countless hours. When Jay wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and especially hunting.

In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memories are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Gracie Nolin of Shorterville and Todd and Peggy Nolin of LaGrange, GA; his maternal grandmother, Leila Gissendaner; his favorite aunt, Jean (Johnny) Littlefield of Shorterville as well as several nieces and cousins.
