     Jean Helen Schwarz, 91, of Dothan passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at Wesley Manor.  Jean was born on Sept. 29, 1921.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Oct. 12 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.   Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral  home on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6 until 8 P.M.


     Mrs. Schwarz was born on Sept. 29, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was married to Bob Schwarz for 65 years, and they were the parents of 13 children.  During their marriage, they lived in Cincinnati, Ohio; Detroit, MI;  Ft. Knox, KY;   Ft. Hood, TX;   Ft. Rucker, AL;  Ozark, AL;  Dothan, AL and Germany.  Mrs. Schwarz was a longtime member of St. Columba Catholic Church.


     Mrs. Schwarz is survived by 13 children:  Pauline (Pete) Staffiero;  Mark (Ann-Marie) Schwarz of Dothan;  Stephanie Schwarz of Ozark;  Carol (Terry) Thomsen of La Quinta, Ca;  Bob (Pat) Schwarz of Omaha, NE;  Judy (Jay) Heffelfinger of Golden, CO;  Suzie (Bob) Grimes of Monterey, CA;  Martha (Tom) McNulty of Anchorage, AK;  Christine Schwarz of Marianna, FL;  Kathy Cochran of San Jose, CA;  Nick (Debbie) Schwarz of Naples, FL;  Mary (Charles) Camp of Martin, GA;  and Gayle (Bob) Vann of Mary Esther, FL.  Mrs. Schwarz is also survived by 72 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
