Jeanette Johnson, age 83, of Newville, AL, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 in Henry County Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Matthew Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. (Crip) Johnson, and a daughter, Ruby Jean Crowell.
Survivors include her children, Martha Jane Johnson, Birmingham, AL; Daniel C. Johnson (Cheryl) Malvern, AL; Peggy Lois Jones (Terry) Newville, AL; Tammy Ann Atchley (Thurston) Soddy-Daisey, TN; son-in-law, Tommy Crowell, Level Plains, AL; grandchildren, Debra Johnson, Daleville, AL; Brian Johnson, Jack, AL; Elizabeth Wells, Coopertown, TN; Mary Strickland, Taylor, AL; Terry Crowell, Jack, AL; Gregory Crowell, Enterprise, AL; Stephanie Quincey, Newville, AL; Rachael Elliott, Columbia, AL; Michael Jones, Midland City, AL; Phillip Lloyd Hutto, Columbus, GA; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Henry County Health and Rehab and AlaCare Hospice for all of their care of our mother during her time with them.
